She is the child of Harvey Welker, a Native American father along with Julie Welker, an African American Mother. Her mother is an agent in real estate while her father holds a degree in engineering. Her graduation from Germantown Friends School in the city of Germantown in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood in 1994. After graduating at Harvard College in 1998, she went to Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts. Welker got married to John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was known as a marketing director. The couple have two daughters. They began to have an affair. John, John's husband is a year older than him.
