Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as host of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Born in Arkansas She was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sibling Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. While growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mother. Sheryl claims that in an instance when her mother stabbed her father after he became close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her passion was comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 when she appeared as a frequent performer on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host of The Talk since 2011. Also, she's appeared in fictitious shows such as Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
