Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and actor best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. Sheryl was a part of her youth taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. When she was a child, she had difficulties with her mother. Sheryl claims that her mom had a time when she stabbed her father over getting too close. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. But her passion was comedy. She was the only female that made it to the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. She began her TV work in 1992 by being a regular comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of The show Oh Drama! The present guest host on the talk talk show from 2011. She has played in fictional series like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
